Jennifer Gottschalk is of counsel to the firm. She has over 35 years of experience as an attorney. During her first 25 years as an attorney, Jennifer Gottschalk served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Monmouth County and a Deputy Attorney General in the office of the New Jersey Attorney General. In 2008, Jennifer retired from the Attorney General’s Office to open her own law practice. The skills, knowledge and experience she brings as a former prosecutor have proven to be invaluable and a key to her success as a criminal defense lawyer. Jennifer Gottschalk has represented hundreds clients who were charged in Municipal, Superior, and Federal Courts with offenses such as possession and distribution of drugs, driving while intoxicated, driving without insurance, driving while revoked/suspended, reckless driving and other traffic offenses, murder, assaults, domestic violence, sex offenses, endangering the welfare of children, burglary, theft, robbery, forgery and fraud, eluding police, resisting arrest, obstructing government official, official misconduct, and other offenses. She has written briefs and argued cases in New Jersey state appeals courts, including our state Supreme Court, as well as in federal courts. Jennifer has tried numerous criminal cases, including murder, before a judge and jury to verdict. She handles many of the firm’s cases that cannot be resolved prior to trial. In addition to criminal, dui and traffic cases, Jennifer handles labor and employment matters.
